Nadia Mukami (born 9 November 1996) is a Kenyan Afro-pop singer-songwriter whose soulful voice and relatable lyrics have cemented her as one of East Africa’s most influential young artists. Best known for hits like Radio Love featuring Arrow Bwoy and Si Rahisi, she has steadily built a career defined by authenticity, resilience, and creative versatility. Beyond music, Nadia is also the founder of Sevens Creative Hub, a platform nurturing fresh talent in the region.
Nadia was born in Nairobi at Pumwani Hospital and raised in a close-knit family. She attended Kari Primary School and later Mount Laverna School in Kasarani, excelling both in academics and co-curricular activities. She went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) at Maseno University. It was during her university years that her passion for music blossomed, leading her to balance books and beats while shaping her path into the industry.
Nadia recorded her first track, Barua Ya Siri, in 2015, followed by Kesi in 2017, which earned her early recognition and festival invitations. However, it was the 2019 release of Radio Love featuring Arrow Bwoy that changed her trajectory, dominating Kenyan airwaves and introducing her to a wider East African audience.
Her talent quickly made her a household name, earning her a spot on Coke Studio Africa 2019, where she represented Kenya among the continent’s brightest stars.
Nadia’s artistry has not gone unnoticed:
In addition to her thriving music career, Nadia is a proud mother and often channels her personal experiences into her music. Her collaboration with partner Arrow Bwoy has produced both chart-topping hits and a shared journey in balancing family life with artistry.
From her early days balancing studies and studio sessions to becoming an award-winning artist and entrepreneur, Nadia Mukami’s story is one of determination and self-belief. She continues to inspire a generation of young Africans with her fearless approach to life and her ability to tell stories through music that resonate far beyond Kenya’s borders.
